Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident on the train line between Weymouth and Bournemouth.

All lines are blocked to and from Dorchester South and on to Weymouth and disruption is expected until 5pm.

A South Western Railway spokesman said: "Due to the emergency services currently dealing with an incident on the railway, trains are unable to run between Weymouth and Wareham. Services due to run between London Waterloo and Weymouth are currently starting and terminating at Wareham.

"Replacement road transport has been requested, and will run between Wareham and Weymouth. Tickets will be accepted, at no extra cost to customers, on Great Western Railway services between Weymouth and Southampton Central via Westbury in both directions.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers."

More on this as we have it.
