Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.

We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Music at the Pavilion

Pavilion in the Park's free lunchtime concert is back from 12noon to 1pm. Enjoy a lunchtime with a difference. Take a picnic or pick up a takeaway and listen to live music outside PiPs café on Poundbury's Great Field.

Saturday: Forest Praise

There will be free craft activities and play for families at St George's Church Hall. Enjoy getting messy sowing seeds and making bug hotels, as well as rice crispy world and doing some stone paintings of animals.

Sunday: Dorchester Repair Cafe

The team of volunteer repairs are back, helping fix anything you need mended to keep it from going to landfill. They will be at Dorchester Borough Gardens' bandstand from 10am. The group is also on the lookout for more volunteers if you can lend a helping hand.

You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.

Hive Beach Company is the exclusive sponsor of Dorchester Nub News' What's On section. Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Dorchester.
