Relate Dorset and South Wiltshire hosts a coffee morning from 10am to 12noon on the first Friday of the month at Inspirations in Poundbury – a warm space where you can meet new people, enjoy a hot drink, chat and find out about more events in the local community.
Enjoy a pint or two at Dorchester Beerex
Dorchester Casterbridge Rotary Club and West Dorset CAMRA proudly present the 34th Dorchester Beerex at The Corn Exchange on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4.
Entry by ticket is £10 which includes your first pint and a pint glass. Extra free pint for card carrying CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale members.
Learn some local history
Philip Browne will give a talk on the 1850 The Trial of John Brake at Shire Hall Museum on Saturday, February 4, showing how the Corn Laws pitted landowners and farmers against the poor and those who supported Free Trade.
