Edge: Birley: Konstantin

An evening showcasing the work of three spectacular Dorset composers. Rick Birley's work deserves to be much more widely known and this concert will feature intimate pieces for piano and solo violin and larger works for choir and orchestra. Geof Edge will be familiar to many through his superb Apollo cantata, and this concert features Points Of Light, a beautiful and thought-provoking work for choir and orchestra. Georgian-born Tamara Konstantin is highly respected pianist and composer whose work has been recorded for the Naxos label. An orchestra, choir and soloists, all carefully selected and with Dorset connections, will come together for this memorable evening of music.
