Comedy duo coming to Dorchester.

Following their sell-out, award-winning show Enter The Dragons, A&E Comedy (Abigail Dooley and Emma Edwards), will be performing in Dorchester next weekend.

The pair return with Witch Hunt - a spell-binding, surreal and darkly hilarious tale, directed by Cal McCrystal.

They are travelling to over 20 venues across the UK including the Corn Exchange Dorchester (5th November), and Layard Theatre in Wimborne Minster.

The comedy show, Witch Hunt, asks who really holds the power in a world where the witches have become the hunters and the predators are now the prey.

Witch Hunt weaves a cautionary fairy tale for our time. It celebrates the wisdom of the witch, unpacks the notion of predator and conjures a world of coven-ready weird sisters.

Abigail Dooley says: "We have so much fun with this show. It's kick-ass and full of energy. It's the kind of show you want to come to see with a group, it makes for a great night out, packed with joyful dissent."

Emma Edwards says: "We love getting the chance to be silly on stage and the audiences seem to love it too. We love showing that you don't have to be young or male to be funny. You don't see many women in comedy past a certain age but laughter is for everyone and we enjoy giving feminism a bit of punk rock energy."

Dooley and Edwards were winners of the Sitcom Mission, with their show What Next. Their script Invisible made the finals of the Screenshot competition and has just gone through to the third round of selects in Female Pilot Club and UKTV's hunt to find new comedy scripts by women featuring leading parts for women who are over age 45.
