Dorchester Nub News is delighted to welcome Clocktower Music as a sponsor.

Based in Bridport, it has a reputation as a world-class record shop amongst music fans - becoming a favourite destination for vinyl fans - and has welcomed visitors from across the world.

It offers new and used vinyl for sale and even during lockdown continues to buy all types and styles of vinyl records.

Roy Gregory of Clocktower Music said: "Clocktower Music is happy to support Dorchester Nub News.

"With the help of our friendly, knowledgeable staff we were voted in Long Live Vinyl magazine - top independent Record Shop of the Year 2019 in the South and South West and a third in a nationwide competition pitting more than 280 such stores against each other, many from cities with vastly greater populations than Dorchester and Bridport.

"Clocktower's main strength is that it has evolved into a 'destination' shop. We don't sell online, so our customers must visit to browse, listen and purchase - and then they can enjoy the ambience of our visually-riotous treasure trove of a shop.

"In the months before lockdown, visitors have come from Germany, the Netherlands, even Alaska, and there's an American website that's rock 'n' roll's answer to Trip Advisor which gives Clocktower Music as its kicking-off point for the entire South West of England.

"We look forward to reopening ASAP and in the meantime, we would be happy to discuss buying your records."

To sell records, email [email protected] or contact the team via the website

Karl Hancock, CEO of Nub News, said: "It is great that Nub News can partner with a support local, independent shops such as Clocktower Music.

"It's a popular shop with a big reputation and we're so pleased to be working with Roy and the crew at Clocktower Music."

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please get in touch with our chief executive Karl Hancock by emailing [email protected]
