FLOOD measures to protect a home, a new office block for a bespoke joinery company and a new storage area for a local holiday business feature in newly decided planning applications.
Most of the proposals in the rural Dorchester area made to Dorset Council were approved although an application to convert a barn into a home at Cheselbourne was turned down.
