Cases and cases rates have fallen slightly across Dorset, but residents are urged to remain vigilant as restrictions are eased.
Due to the bank holiday, Public Health Dorset has published figures today (Thursday, April 1) rather than tomorrow.
Public Health Dorset reports there are 108 confirmed coronavirus cases in the last seven days in the Dorset Council area, compared to 113 on March 26, and 68 in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council area, compared to 99 on March 26.
The seven-day case rate per 100,000 of the population in the Dorset Council area is 28.5, compared to 29.9 on March 26, and 17.2 in the BCP Council area, compared to 25 on March 26.
Figures on how many people are in hospital beds in Dorset with coronavirus are not published by NHS England until later and an update will be provided here.
A spokesman for Public Health Dorset said: "Both Dorset Council and BCP Council areas have seen a slight fall in case rates this week. Both areas are now below the average rate for the South West and significantly lower than the England average.
"Whilst it is good news that our case rates have fallen over recent weeks, as restrictions start to ease it's more important than ever to remain vigilant. In the last few months, we have seen how quickly things can change. "This week saw restrictions on social contact start to be eased, with people now able to meet outdoors in groups of up to six people, or two households. Please remember that you still need to maintain social distancing when meeting others, and only meet in outside spaces where the risk of transmission is much lower than indoors. "Whilst many of us are looking forward to doing more of the things we enjoy and seeing the people we love over the coming months, it's important to remember that we need to take each step safely as we continue to live with Covid-19. "The key public health measures remain critically important - keep your distance, wear a face covering and wash your hands frequently. If you have any Covid symptoms, even if they are mild, you must book a test and self-isolate with your household."
