Man hospitalised after collision with car. Police are probing circumstances

A MAN remained in hospital 24 hours after an incident in which he was hit by a car on New Year's Eve in Dorchester.
The collision was reported to have happened at 5.26pm on Maiden Castle Road.
Police initially described the injuries received as 'minor' but the man remains in hospital.
No arrests have been made and Dorset Police is still carrying out enquiries into the full circumstances of the collision.
