Job: Architectural Technologist

Location: Nr Dorchester

  • Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
  • Benefits include 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays rising to 24 days with length of service. Plus paid sick leave of 3 days per year.

Our client an award winning practice is looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist. The company has multi-disciplinary skills with a combined team of Architects, Building Surveyors and Technologists, undertaking all RIBA stages of works. They have particular core principles in sustainability in design of buildings.

Due to an expanding workload they are recruiting an Architectural Technologist. In particular, they are looking for an Architectural Technologist with ability in all RIBA Stages, although not universal.

Experience of the following would be preferable:

  • - Listed Buildings, new developments, sustainable design
  • - AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp
  • - Apple MacBook, with use of Microsoft Office
  • - Technical detailing and working drawings
  • - Knowledge of the planning system and building regulations
  • - Contract administration
  • - Ability to take on responsibility, work independently and together in a team
  • - Good written and verbal communication skills
  • - Full driving licence with use of own car
