Connect2SocialWork are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a Children's Service in Dorset. The role offers support to substantially disabled children and young people with multiple or complex needs, their families and statutory/voluntary carers via assessment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with an interest in Sensory Integration
• BSc in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registered
• Understanding of disability issues
• Understanding of statutory Child Protection principles, procedures and practices and fundamental understanding of childcare legislation
• Excellent communication in English, written and verbal
• Driving licence and access to car with business insurance - extensive travel required
• Enhanced DBS

WHAT'S ON OFFER:

• 37 hours per week (flexible on actual times)
• Rate of pay: 36.50 per hour; 45p per mile (travel)
• Flexible working hours
