JavaFX Developer6 Month ContractRate: £650 - £700 per day (Inside IR35)Location: Home/Dorset (3 Days a week onsite)

Skills: JavaFX, PostgreSQL, UML, SC ClearanceWe are looking to recruit an SC Cleared JavaFX Developer for a leading software & solutions organisation. This is an initial 6 month contract working on a market leading defence project. Due to the nature of the work valid SC Clearance is essential. You will also be required to work onsite in Dorset 3 day a week.

The Role:

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining user interfaces for my client's submarine Defence systems using JavaFX. You will work closely with other developers, designers, and engineers to ensure that the user interface is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets the needs of our end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining user interfaces using JavaFX Pulling information from UML and mocking up wireframes
• Working with defence protocols and understanding submarine systems Integrating with Back End systems using PostgreSQL Developing data visualisations for the Front End
• Collaborating with a team of experienced engineers and designers

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in developing user interfaces using JavaFX In-depth knowledge of Java programming language
• Experience working with UML and wireframes
• Understanding of defence protocols and submarine systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with data visualization libraries
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

Sole British Nationality and SC clearance are essential for this role.
