FIREFIGHTERS responded to a flat fire in Dorchester this morning (Sunday, 19 May).

The alarm was raised 8:58pm about fire in in North Square, Dorchester.

Upon arrival smoke was found issuing from the property, so crews got to work with four breathing apparatus wearers with hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Crews, including firefighters from Weymouth, left the scene around 11.30am.
