The Nantes team is delighted to have supported Weldmar Hospicecare with the 'Make A Will' month scheme, which raised a total of nearly £17,000.

The 'Make A Will' month scheme brings together a group of charities to offer members of the public the opportunity to have their wills written or updated for free.

Solicitors partner with charities to offer this free service and those making a will donate towards the charity.

A spokesman for Nantes said: "Partnering up with Weldmar Hospicecare, our team helped supporters of the charity to draft and amend their wills, ensuring their family and friends are provided for.

"The impact of Covid-19 has increased the need for Weldmar Hospicecare services and we feel proud that our efforts and the knowledge of our wills and probate team has supported this project."

Nantes managed to raise more than £1,000 towards the total amount raised.

Cordelia English, director and head of the private client department at Nantes Solicitors, said: "It was a lovely team effort with the whole private client department pulling together to get wills signed up for people, particularly under such difficult conditions.

"We are very happy to be able to support Weldmar Hospicecare and our local community."

Nantes Solicitors offer a free, no obligation, will review. With four offices across Dorset - including Dorchester - the firm has a long-established reputation for legal expertise, providing expert legal advice and excellent customer care.
