There's still time to enter the Thomas Hardy Window Trail Competition.

The closing date is Wednesday, June 30 at 5pm and entry forms are available from various locations in Dorchester, including Dorchester Town Council offices, or can be downloaded from the THVF website at www.thomashardyvictorianfair.co.uk

Just like this year's Thomas Hardy Victorian Fair, there is a live element and an online element.

You will need to visit Antelope Walk in Dorchester to track down seven #THVF window stickers that form an anagram.

Empty shops in the picturesque shopping arcade have been dressed in a Victorian theme, with outstanding displays by The Thomas Hardy Society, New Hardy Players, Dorchester Community Play Association, Shire Hall, The Watercress Company and Dorchester Civic Society.

The second part is to answer clues from the Thomas Hardy Victorian Fair website presentation `Dorchester Through Time - Thomas Hardy's Casterbridge'. The special production covers different aspects of life in Dorchester when Thomas Hardy would have been alive. There are videos of Thomas Hardy's cottage and Max Gate, music performances as well as written accounts of what life would have been like in nineteenth century Dorchester.

The competition closes on June 30 at 5pm and first prize is an annual pass to Dorset Museum, second prize is a ticket to Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum and third prize is a ticket to Keep Military Museum.

There are special post boxes for completed entry forms in CW Hats and Accessories Goulds Department Stores Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum and Dorchester Town Council or you can submit answers by email to [email protected].
